Dingi – Mandojo & Domokaya

domokayabc.jpg

Mandojo na Domokaya probably not your daily Bongo Flava artists, if you ever met them in person, their guitar wearing and playing characters would through you off as some off the streets actors. But truthfully the number of times I have seen them perform, I have always been overwhelmed. They both kinda tend to hang around each other and for what its worth have been making feel good educative music since their inception.

They have been in the game for a while now, and as much as this song is not really new – it still makes some good listen. I have been trying to find a way to balance the demands from my Tanzanian friends who keep asking for Bongo Flava, so for the next few days I will try to upload and share as much Bongo Flava as I can get my hands on. Feeeelie the Track… psss My favorite song is Ma knock knock feat Lady Jay Dee I will see if I can get my hands on that track and share it.

This track is called Dingi – which actually means Father in Swahili (or slang swahili)… Its a deep song about how or why the Dad left the kid…// if you can keep up with the swahili enjoy the track..
