Brand New: Nameless feat DEP – Obama O

Today is just a day to THANKSGIVING FESTIVITIES – And I have been bombarded with so much info and so much content that I am officially overwhelmed. I will continuously say ASANTE to my resources and sources in Kenya, in Uganda and Tanzania (even though i haven’t started posting Tanzanian songs yet – am still looking for an editor or contributor to fit that post). That said, I will post 3 songs today that are FIRE!!!! The first exclusive joint being this DEP – King wa RAP (Collo) and Nameless track that is just SICK and off the charts.

These two went into a studio soon after the victory and came out with this undoubtedly Nameless jingle driven OBAAAAAMA OOOOO commemorative song. What makes this song officially hot is the fact that it brings the total number of HITS from the ULOPA Ngoma studios on this site to NUMBER 5. We continue to salute you, salute your work and your dedication to churn out hit after hit. Ulopa has developed a niche for himself in Kenya and I am just glad that its taking form and shape much like Mandugu did a while back with the BOOUNCE.

So for all y’all coming to Atlanta this weekend – see you there, for the rest . hang tight I have an OGOPA ANTHEM am going to upload from Colonel Mustafa – that’s bound to put a close to a rather exciting week.

If you hear a track that’s got great instrumentation, great creativity, alot of unexpected beat-breaks and style changes and hi-hats that are usually chini ya maji, that’s a UlOPA joint and Obama Oh is signature stuff from this production house. Unmistakable similarity between “Salary Oh” and “Obama Oh” tune and I’m giving Monski the benefit of a doubt-maybe he really did want them to sound the same. I’m such a critic I know but I told you I hear EVERYTHING in a song, including the ameaturish-sounding first 10 seconds of the track. It actually sounds like an “upcomer” experimenting with Fruity in his bedroom in Buru..but from the 10 second mark onwards, the legend of Ulopa manifests!! This track is deadly but hook sounds a lot like Salary Oh..I just can’t get over that.

gentlemanly……ok the track sounds like salari but did it ever appear to you that it might be the remix? he clearly states its the remix at the start of the song. fact that you are the last to understand this fact but think you are the first to discover the similarity between this song and salari has nothing to do with you ears that apparently hear EVERYTHING but everything with the fact that you honestly arent telling anyone anything new but want to think you are, so we give you the benefit of the doubt and act shocked and impressed by your listening skills and overdescriptive wording that has just made us aware that this track sounds like salari!
FYI this instrumental was played live and any set of ears that hear EVERYTHING heard this!

Tha track is deadly.Stop hating on a track that was produced by ULOPA while salari was produced by some guy from UG called Washington.
    Ulopa did an excellent job.
