Prezzo- Cheki Ninavyo Roll – GetMziki

Prezzo- Cheki Ninavyo Roll

Am posting this song only because Prezzo just got married and I couldnt think of any other song that would commemorate his stepping into the new age other than this song (its not a new song). This is one of the few tracks I’ve had in the GM archives but never thought I would actually publish it because it focuses on a specific moment and time in Jackson’s life. Its much to personal for him especially because of the Collaborations involved in this track.

If you pay close attention to this song you will hear beats and essence of the whole dirty south style. Kenya went through this phase a few years ago where many hiphop artists dabbled their hands into the whole south style. Tshazi is probably one of the few producers who ran with this production style and got a few artists recognized here and there. Either way here is Cheki Ninavyo Roll by Prezz featuring Tah Blaze one of the former CMB posse.

Also R.I.P Feroze you are always missed Mshkaji wangu, always missed…

Terribly uncreative, producer did not even do much, used the same drums, hi-hats and in some parts the same melody from his earlier work (2050 – Abbas)

Is prezzo still the King of Bling huku? The attitude thing in prezzo’s rapping is what saidiaz him all the time. His videos are much the same you know: The way he looks down at his own clothes frequently, the sunglasses, the cigar, the expensive video-sets..yaani, image has made prezzo, not so much his raw talent. Infact, Prezzo now belongs to the sound of “yesterday” in Kenya, unless he completely re-brands himself as an artist. This is just my opinion; don’t take it like a verse from the Bible.
Checki Navyoroll offers nothing special, even including Tah Blaze. If its local crunk, it can’t hold the candle to hits like Niaje Niaje {Is that the title? Abass, Chiwawa, Malik?} and Kama Kawaida.
But because we give honor to whom honor is due, we still like the star-quality of Prezzo. And you’d be surprised at just how popular he is in the only East-African city where every chick yuko na mahaga!
