So let me be real I’ve written about Stella Mwangi on this blog enough times no need for me to go over and over about who she is and how she does what she do. However . However. However. I wrote off STL as a Werstern/US product, hence I stopped posting most of her songs off the new album on the site. I personally listen to about 4 to 5 songs off her album (The entire album is a classic). My favorite song is that “RADIO TUNING”, I feel as if she made it for me – for the secret love affair we never had when I was on RADIO 
lol (Call it wishful thinking).
Moving on – this song is not on the new album, at least not on the copy i got… because honestly if I had this song before I would have posted it without thinking twice. Stella made her first Kikuyu song (lets call it Kikuyu rap) because this cant be a song. For someone who doesn’t even speak good swahili, when I heard this joint I was like hold up – Aint no way she pulled this off so lucid – I mean its like she straight up be talking Kyuk like she left last week. Maybe thats what makes Kenyans unique, it don’t matter how long you live out of the country – your kyuk, or jango will still be fly. I mean she even shrubs her name on the track just to make it more authentic (Sterra Nyambuura!) .. Kenya Stand up for real.
I know my man Kimathi will be pissing on me after I post this track because I dissed it before I even listened to it, so I take my silly comments back – real talk this is a fresh hit – when I hear fly fresh music I will post and share – so here. Big ups to DJ Edu for playing this track last week on DNA. However screw him though for pretending GetMziki doesn’t exist considering we give him so much love and props on the site yet he lengas our shouts! No biggie though we still do our thing. (thats just me being bitter and personal)
Otherwise STELLA // Big ups my ipod has a folder called ‘Stella My Love’ – where I rotate “The Dreamer” its on cruise control. So that song taught me to keep aiming and keep wishing – so am still waiting for you to holla at a bruh.. I know you read this site .. he he he .. so help me stop dreaming “they call me such a dreamer” !!

Leo, I love your site, and I sure as shit appreciate the music.You proly way higher up in the music game than I’ll ever get. But your infatuation with every other singing chick with a mic is pretty juvenile and annoying.
Half the tricks u put on here can’t sing worth a fuck and don’t look that much better than ur average college kid.
That said, STL is very gifted musically, but this is weak.
nice 1 Leo…i’ve been bumping this song 4 a while now…STL is the truth…kyuk isn’t an easy language phoenetically 2 rap in(beleive me, i’ve tried)…i only feel a litte saddened by wanjalas comments on how some of the shawties(ATL accent)posted by Leo dont look good…thats the kind of stereotype that leads ordinary-looking skilled artists not 2 succeed in the industry…my dude,enjoy the music…not the shape,size,colour,breast 2 butt ratio etc of these artists who are gifted and blessed enough 2 do what they love…if we looked @ things like that,then nobody would ever listen 2 Biggie…or Missy…even Dj Paul amma Bushwick Bill…this is plain n simple a fun song…n if the track is weak,at least the beat is bumping…this is anutha album filler…which leads 2 anutha question…wapi album za hawa mamanzi masupuu???bilaaz…ndakwira, biacara ni biacara…”tugicaria beca, we no icera”…ha…big up miss nyambura wa mwangi…REAL TALK
hahaha “Wanjala” chill out man…ask you’re kyuk friends to translate the song and you’ll find it every uplifting and necessary homz…Otherwise STL is one of the very few African hip-hop Artists to license there songs in movies/Hollywood (standards) and such joining the ranks of Nazizi, Wyre, Bamboo & Kalamasha…and she known to push that envelop!

Look Wanjala.. I appreciate the comments and feedback. Thats always appreciated, in fact me I am one of the few first guys to comment on things I like or things I don’t like.
But real talk – Sure enough I could like STL, so what, who cares, thats just me airing out my upuzi.. you don’t have to get so worked up about it… // Its pure entertainment – do I think she is the finest, probably not, but take these sentiments with a grain of salt… all these things are entertainment based and are not to be taken personally…
Hii si site ya ma beauty peagant or personalities… Me I like to talk upuzi but I also am real – If I liked someone I will let them know. Am too old now to fukuza fukuza suruali but it doesnt change the fact that I liked them once upon a time and I appreciate their work…

Leo I totally agree with you. DJ Edu is a master in the DJ Choir but he is a bit of an airhead, kinda in the same league as John Rabar. STL is too dope!
