Roba dropped this track a few weeks ago from one of his close friends Kyraz. Its an interesting collabo between Kyraz and Wyre which seems to have some heavy weights blessed in both the video and audio. Audio: ULOPA and Video: Ogopa Videos. Both moves of which I find such positive career moves in terms of getting the best to lace up your work as an artists.
I am barely getting to listen to the song so I have no real opinions about the track just yet. But I can tell you the video has a CAKE on it. There is a yellow yellow brown brown in a RED DRESS that had me fixated for pretty much majority of the day today. I know it sucks that through out the entire video instead of paying attention to the song, I’ve been mesmerized by the beauty in the vid, but real talk – thats probably why the selected her for that part…
Bit I digress – here is some info on Kyraz that he sent over.
Bio:
Kyraz is an upcoming Hip hop artist who is slowly solidifying his place in the Kenyan Hip hop scene. His first debut on the music scene is when he featured in E-Sir’s song called Wika some years back. Since then, he has been perfecting his rhyming skills and doing some singles with other underground artists before he got into mainstream. He has also been a key figure in the development of the group, Ground Zero (Aromas, Opips and Jardel) of the Haitawezekana fame (which featured earlier on in this website), in which he features in their new video “So High”. He has an album out called Boy Mistari (Which is a banger) that features Wyre, Sauti Sol, and Zakah from Wenyeji. Productions are from Ulopa and Aromas.
I find bio’s very cliche’ but I am getting into the habit of posting bio’s and creds based on how the artists themselves what to be known and not how I feel they should be known.

The video is really well thought out. We’ve discussed about the production quality in terms of audio but not so much video. Ogopa are setting the bar really high. The lighting, make up, costumes, even the video sets are on point. The story board is relevant to the track…the transitions are seamless. We like watching beautiful ladies shake about but its not always appropriate. The characters in the video are exceptional; the lady playing the lead role is amazing….You can watch the video without the sound and still enjoy it, plus the message will still be carried across.
The cameramen do a very good job of getting some serious angles especially when they enter the car!!! Great job guyz…
Kimgitz,
I beg to differ slightly, I think today many people tend to critic of value videos based on the Camera quality – no one is looking at the video direction. To me this video is just okay, its all facial, a lot of light usage and photo correction and intensity correction.. however whats so unique about this video from the other 50 videos. NOTHING.
No one tells stories anymore, no one has a good budget to close a street, no one captures elements of Kenya or of the song in their vidoes. Everyone is selling facetime on their videos.
Maya hunte’s track was cheap but told a story : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxqu0XY1PHA, makes it a better video to watch that this one… and its not about the CAMERA really or the QUALITY..
i have to concur with GetMziki here….whats the X-factor?? what makes it different. with all the exotic locations, landmarks and beauty of Kenya..no one manages to use it in a motion pictures music video et cetera. Video production has come along way from those whacky videos back in the days but at the same time creativity used to come with this concepts is very minimum and not so much effort is used. Ive seen a music vid being shot in 2 days its playing….only in KE
Beat is crazy, wyre off the huk but this other dude has whack vocals, can do better.
I hate to disagree with you. When you shoot a video it serves different purposes. there is guys looking at the quality of the camera direction, lighting and colour….as any one in the panel of the channel O video music awards or VMAs guys even win oscars coz of music videos ask Jayz acting all cool with denzel washington. YES they always do it for FACEtime thats whats its all about Recognition and in every case the best quality of every thing always wins. Its all in the imagination of the artist to create something visual from his – her music! Creativity….thats what bn an artist is all about!
The video u just used by Maya Hunte…shows exactly what am saying….that is not a cheap video am not saying its overspent or expensive…its moderate…the Camera and Quality !!!! are the same as with “NO MORE!” They are all moderate spent videos that tell the story….no club scenes no gals shaking there booty which works for videos P-Unit do! the have great story boards that tell stories that work for them….I loved the scene with the grand piano and the one at the bar…did u guyz see all that booze…whisky… I arrest my case

Whenever people delay to do everything until you’re confident it’s right, you’ll probably never accomplish much of anything
