Lect_circ

Lectronica Circle is an EDM group based in Kenya composing of David Gilbert & Kevin Kinuthia. On this new record they collabo with King of Dancehall in Kenya, Wyre for a crazy massive record that is catchy and definitely a straight to music playlist addition.

For more of Lectronica Circle check out their music on their soundcloud page. The group makes dope EDM music and people need to hear and download those records you have out. Why put a record on Soundcloud and disable the download link.

“Light it up” is good party music. Everyone did their thing on this one. Kenyan-Flava EDM. I’ll run this back!

With so many artists and tons of records being released on a weekly basis, it’s sometimes so hard to fully enjoy and digest records. The result is a 18-track compilation with a few bonus tracks. We showcase tons of records on a weekly basis and with everyone being busy with their daily lives, we decided to start showcasing records that are exclusive releases, chart setters, songs that will be future hits, present hits and everything else in between. Consider this as a music playlist to keep you abreast on what’s popping in the East African music scene.”

Boneless- Superficial

Boneless

We’ve featured Boneless before with Kusunga and Supasta before. On his latest offering produced and mastered by Saint Evo Boneless goes hard on this EDM type or record. His past record enjoyed undeniable success at radio and clubs. To keep the momentum rolling on, which in today’s music climate means releasing releasing record every couple of months, Boneless gives his listeners Superficial”.

Mainly done in the Kamba language, Boneless attacks the beat with some great flow. This bumps… Good work by all.

Ivory Namara Feat Kelvin – I See You

I didn’t know anything about Kenyan Ivory Namara until a few months ago when I heard this record. Ivory was one of the contestants in the airtel trace music star competition who made it to the top nine. When I heard this record a few moths ago, a couple of things stuck to me instantly. One was the amazing tone and voice of Ivory and the natural feel good emotion in her voice. Two is the production on the record and the final mastered products. Fast forward and I have a folder of Atwal records that consistently get played in my music playlist. Remember the Name people: Atwal

Why lie, If I had a record company both Ivory Namara and Atwal would be on my list of an artist and producer to sign. I know haters are gonna hate and say the sound in “I See You” sounds like ABC’s sound, but I’m all about good music, quality production and the ability to create overwhelmingly consistent listening to records.

“I See You” is one of those records you can consistently listen to.

K-Letta- Lemme Know

k_letta

Nearly three years has passed since we last featured K-Letta on the site with ‘African Girls”. Back then his EP was about to drop but I never hard anything back. His latest official single from his forthcoming EP ‘Back 2 Basics’ was produced by Produced by Nairobi (Rap Damu) for Pacho Entertainment.

Origarmi Boy Presents the brand new single ‘Lemme Know’ by K-Letta. Produced by Naiboi (Rap Damu) for Pacho Entertainment.

Released to Radio on 4th May, 2015…

After a long hiatus, artist, songwriter, entertainment entrepreneur K-Letta returns with a bang! Effortlessly riding this smooth, fresh sounding number he sounds like he’s not missed a step. If this first single is the yardstick then his forthcoming EP ‘Back 2 Basics’ will definitely be worth the wait and an exciting listen.

This is a decent track and a bouncy beat. It’s not ahit record but I can see people vybing to it.
