This is a record that I’ve been listening to for the last few weeks that deserves a spot on the site. We all know that TID can make dope records, but ever since he went through his legal and personal ups and down’s, he’s been slowly trying to get back to the well know upper enchelon days of Siamini and all the other records he’s done.
Tamu Asali finds TID jumping on Producer Lamar’s beat for an infectious classic bongo flava material. The production and mixing on this record is superb. I was really feeling the way the kicks and the snares hit heavy and nicely especially on the few intro bars on the record.
Is this the single to bring TID back to where he belongs. Only time will tell….
For now, this is a great addition to your record collection.
