We here at GetMziiki are all about breaking East African artists and showcasing music coming from that region and across Africa. We had Jay A as part of the 2012 Top Freshmen which speaks volumes of his amazing ideas of making great records.
He’s been keeping busy by appearing on the Ligi Soo remix, but apart from that he’s been low key.
Here is an excerpt of what we had to say about him when we had him as one of the top 10 Freshmen.
Missing pieces to improve on: Lack of a solid solo individual record and an online presence. Lack of a decent catalog of songs and also lack of a good PR team.As compared to the other top freshmen, he lagging behind in his music catalog.
Dumbala did nothing for me, but maybe some people out there will gravitate to it.
