This is an old song but am posting it still anyway specifically because Ive been bumping to it for a long time now but I never had the digital format. Pauline Wairimu (or Wanjuhi as her Facebook profile states), aka Mimmo, is probably going to be a one hit wonder – although I hope not.
This hit track “Best Friend” features Collo of Kleptomaniax and its a genuine demonstration of humble beginings from someone I think who has great potential. Ogopa DJs blessed the beat and video collectively allowing the young soultress to focus more on her vocal gifts as opposed to looks and stuff.
I really don’t have any more information about Mimmo or her career although different thumb prints of her career can be seen online on Facebook and on Twitter. Either way this is a track I listen to a lot – enjoy.
